Mercury Morchella Baxley (he/they) is a queer and trans illustrator and printmaker based in Portland, Oregon. Their work celebrates the bountiful diversity and queerness of life in nature and human society! Their intent is to encourage connection between people and nature and to fight against the false narrative that queerness isn’t part of nature. Their work is visually inspired by queer life and love, as well as mushrooms, fungi, and other queer species that are often overlooked or unwanted.
